Consistent Game Design by Phil Reed

We were joined by prolific game designer, Philip Reed, who has produced volumes of supplements over his career.

Although he has a full time job as CEO of Steve Jackson Games, he continues to pursue making small indie style game supplements out of his sheer love of design.

Most recently he has created several supplements for OSR style games such as Mork Borg and Troika.

He shared some of his design process and lessons that he has learned over a career that has spanned over 25+ years!

Tricube Tales for Aspiring Game Designers

We were joined by Richard Woolcock of Zadmar Games on the most recent edition of the Dieku Podcast! We discuss Richard's Savage Worlds setting, Saga of the Goblin Horde and Tricube Tales, a generic universal system where the character sheet is so easy to memorize that it doesn’t even have to be written down!

Richard has created series of genre specific one-page games to use with Tricube Tales that allow you to get up and running with a game in minutes! Released under Creative Commons 3.0 (text not art), Richard encourages others to use Tricube Tales in making their own games.
